A very sad sight, and the end of an era, in more ways than one, The 'Emerald', formerly the Santa Rosa of Grace Line. The last of the steam driven ocean liners, built during the swan-song period of traditional shipbuilding, and the end of an era for us of ocean liner salvage. Those warehouse-busting quantities of mid-century treasures are all gone now. Believe me, you could fit what you'd want to salvage from a recently built passenger ship, in the boot of your car. The Emerald was a let down, re-fitted to death in the 70's and 80's, not worth the 2 near-death experiences getting to and fro the Ship during monsoon tides, but when you've gone 3000 miles you got to go the last 1. Sailed back to shore glad I had bought so much of the Augustus, the 1000pcs of furniture onboard Her doesn't seem...

Bolivia, a landlocked South American country, holds the promise of discovery for adventurous souls. While pretty Sucre, “La Ciudad Blanca,” is Bolivia’s judicial capital, La Paz is its political capital and also its main tourist hub. On the Mirador at Laikacota, you get a feel for how incredibly high up in the Andes this city sits. Deep in the valley below lies the central Plaza Murillo, home to the most precious buildings: the Presidential Palace, National Congress and Metropolitan Cathedral. Most visitors stay near the Plaza San Francisco, because of its proximity to hidden gems, such as the curious Witches’ Market, the Musical Instrument Museum and the Coca Museum. Around La Paz, you can ride down “El Camino de la Muerte," hike through the lunar landscape of Valle de la Luna and great...

https://www.expedia.com/Trujillo.d3537.Destination-Travel-Guides Trujillo is known as the Peruvian Capital of Culture. This Spanish colonial city in the northern desert of Peru is a vibrant place, with colorful architecture and proud Latino traditions. The surrounding desert coast is dotted with the ancient ruins of lost civilizations. Some 2,000 years ago, long before the first Incas arrived, the Moche people and later the Chimú, managed to cultivate the arid Moche Valley and build thriving cities such as Chan Chan, made entirely from adobe bricks. These pre-Columbian civilizations also created the mighty Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Moon, wove reed boats for fishing, dug canals for irrigation and designed refined jewelry and pottery. The museum in the coastal site of El ...

Our trip to Leyte after Typhoon Haiyan. We used Ipad google maps as our guide going to Surigao. Our team is composed of returned missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we know the people, the language, the area. On our first night, we stayed in a hotel(Southern Star Realty and Travel and Tours) in Maasin near Pres. Andaya (Mission president of Tacloban Mission). Second night, we had to split. Our team stayed in Carigara chapel and the other team stayed in the Yolanda Headquarters of the LDS Church in Ormoc. Along the way, members fed us so we didn't really have problem with food. We were able to come up with gasoline funds because we did caroling to some members and other generous individuals. Toys were donated by Davao Stake. We used tamaraw FX so we c...
Wide open mind is clear
A distant voice emerges
from the deep luxuriant forest
The almighty force of ancients pervades my soul
Wide open Fate is clear
They are calling me - resistance is futile
The chains of blood are teased
the time of salvation has come
An enormous green and dark flame
burns the insane fears
There is a surrounding magic around here
The skin loses its epidermic fear
Short flashback of the past infamous life
abhorred reduced to ashes
"The future is awaiting for my coming
long paths in several wrong places
For the transgressor of the cosmic order law
False Messiahs (bringer) of corrupted values
will triumph In the mind of the empty mass
But the eternal salvation is far beyond
where no pathway goes
A fusion in deep spiritual walk between
the cosmic essence And Nature through blood"
The Ancestral spirit evoked emerges
from the frozen tomb of mankind
The broken continuity became a loud memory
I crushed the wall of time
I crushed the dominion of illusions
the past is alive
"The almighty force of ancients pervades my soul
I am the wolf - the obscure abyss and cave
